Welcome to the official web site of the Israeli Krav Maga Association (IKMA) Gidon System. The IKMA was founded on October 22, 1978 by Krav Maga founder: Imi Lichtenfeld. The inventor of Krav Maga decades before any other Krav Maga association.
The IKMA was the first such association to be recognized by the Israeli government. Imi appointed his top student, Haim Gidon, to be his successor and to further develop Israeli Krav Maga. Working from Imi's techniques and principles, Grandmaster Haim Gidon has spent nearly two decades developing Krav Maga into its most modern evolution: The Gidon System.
The IKMA has sponsored instructor training since 1978 and is the original and longest standing Krav Maga association in the world.
The IKMA is a registered association recognized by the Israeli government now headed by Imi's official successor, Grandmaster Haim Gidon.
